Modifying shards associated with a colony
You can modify the shards that are associated with a colony.
About this task
To modify the shards associated with a colony:
Procedure
In the Colony List panel, select the colony
whose details you want to modify from the list of colonies and then
choose Colony Details. The Colony Details window
displays.

| Colony Id | Displays the identifier of the colony that you are modifying. |
| Prefix | Displays the prefix number associated with the colony. |
| Version | Displays the version number associated with the colony. |
| Shard Mapping List | |
| Shard Id | The identification number of the database shard to which this colony belongs. |
| Table Type | The table type to which this colony and database shard belongs. |
| Add Shard Mapping | Click this button to add a new shard for the colony. |
| Delete Shard Mapping | Click this button to delete the selected shard from the colony. |
