Modifying a database shard
Once you add a database shard, you can modify it.
About this task
To modify a database shard:
Procedure
In the DB Shard List panel, select the database
shard whose details you want to modify from the list of database shards
and then choose DB Shard Details.
Results
The Database Shard Details window displays.

| Manage DB Shard Connection | |
| Shard Id | Enter a unique identifier for the new database shard. |
| Save | Click this button to save the details of the database shard. |
| Reset | Click this button to clear the database shard details. |
| Shard Parameter List | |
| Name | The name of the parameter associated with the given database shard. |
| Value | The value of the parameter. |
| Add Param | Click this button to add a new parameter to associate with the database shard. |
| Delete Param | Click this button to delete the selected parameter from the Shard Parameter List. |
