View and add detailed notes, instructions, and other information that is related to a sales order.
Notes
Description of the Notes

| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Date | The date and time when this note is created. |
| User | The user who creates this note. |
| Reason | The reason code for this note. |
| Contact type | The type of contact information on this note, for example phone or email. |
| Contact reference | The contact information for the type. For example, if contact type is phone, use the contact's phone number. If contact type is email, use the contact's email address. |
| Notes | The note for this work order. |
From within this section, you can add a new note pertaining to the sales order. Click Add, provide the information, and click Add. For more information on adding a note, see Adding notes.
Instructions
Description of the Instructions

| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Instruction type | The type of instruction, such as Gift, Pick, Pack, Ship, or Other. |
| Instruction text | The specific instructions requested for the order. |
| URL | The URL that points to existing instructions for this service. For example, you might already have an existing procedure for inserting promotional materials into certain packages. |
From within this section, you can add new instructions pertaining to the sales order. Click Add, provide the information, and click Add. For more information on adding a note, see Adding instructions for orders.
