Viewing sales order details

Account managers view sales order details to manage customer relationships, help ensure seamless order fulfillment, and maintain up-to-date communication on order deliveries and inventory. By viewing sales order details, account managers can proactively tackle potential issues and identify opportunities and challenges.

Procedure

  1. Log in to Order Hub.
  2. From the main menu, select Dashboards > Account.
  3. From the Account menu, select the account for which you want to view the sales order details.
    To find a specific account, start typing the account name. The list updates to show matching accounts.
  4. Click the flyout menu icon and select All sales orders.
  5. Click the sales order number for which you want to view the details. You see the sales order summary and order lines for the sales order that you selected.

Results

You see the sales order summary information. From here, you can view the sales order status, the number of orders on hold, and the number of active alerts. The following sales order summary information is displayed:
  • Enterprise, customer, buyer, and seller details
  • Total sales order value
  • Expected delivery dates
  • Assigned carrier service
  • Payment method and status
If the sales order includes bundles that include multiple items, you see a bundle icon in the Order line number field. The bundle icon is displayed as three stacked circles. The components that you added to the bundle are indented and displayed as separate line items. Bundles within bundles are also indented.

If the sales order includes kits that include multiple components, a kit icon is displayed as three stacked circles Kit icon that looks like 3 stacked circles in the Order line number field. The kit is the only line item that is displayed. The components within the kit are not displayed as separate order lines because they cannot be ordered separately. To view the components that are included in the kit, click the order number, then from the Order line details page, then select the Components tab.

If the sales order includes added services, an icon is displayed in the order lines field. A provided service is shown as a people icon and a delivery service is shown as a truck icon. You can associate services from the Sales order details page. The process is similar to assigning services when you create sales orders. For more information, see Creating sales orders.

You can complete the following actions from the sales order summary.
  • Click the cog icon to customize how you view the remaining items in the summary.
  • Use the arrow to expand or collapse the entire section.
  • Select the links to view the buyer and seller, order status, related contract order, payment, and charges details.
  • Hover over the bill to and ship to fields to view the bill to and ship to full addresses and contact information.
  • Change the payment status for the sales order.
  • Change the delivery service to use for the sales order.
