Remove a provided service from a category

You can remove a provided service from a category if you do not want the provided service in that category.

To remove a provided service from a category:

Procedure

  1. Navigate to the Catalog Management Screen. To navigate to the Catalog Management screen, perform the following steps:
    1. Log in to Sterling Business Center as an Item Administrator.
    2. The application home page is displayed. Click the Products tab.
    3. From the Products home page, click Manage Catalogs in the Catalog dashlet.
    4. The Catalog List screen is displayed. Click the Catalog ID hyperlink corresponding to the catalog for whose category you want to assign an item.

      The Catalog Management screen is displayed.

  2. From the Catalog Hierarchy tree, select the category from which you want to remove a provided service.
  3. The Items and Services panel is displayed. Select the check box adjacent the provided service you want to remove.
  4. Click Remove.
  5. A message asking you for confirmation is displayed. Click Yes to remove the provided service.

    The selected provided service is removed from the category.
