Delete allowed value assets from a text attribute

You can delete an asset from an attribute if you do not want any of the electronic media objects to be associated with the attribute.

About this task

To delete an asset for an attribute:

1. Navigate to the Attribute Management screen. To navigate to the Attribute Management screen, perform the following steps:
   1. Log in to Sterling Business Center as an Item Administrator.
   2. The application home page is displayed. Click the Products tab.
   3. From the Products home page, click Manage Attributes in the Catalog dashlet.

      The Attribute Management screen is displayed.

2. From the Item Attributes tree, select an attribute whose assets you want to manage.
3. The Text Attribute Properties panel is displayed. In the Valid Values panel, click the Assets <number> hyperlink.
4. The Manage Allowed Value Assets dialog box is displayed. Select the check box adjacent the asset you want to delete.
5. Click Delete.
6. A message asking you for confirmation is displayed. Click Yes to delete the asset.

   The allowed value asset is deleted from the text attribute.
