Configuring a load document's purge criteria

You can set qualifications around each type of purge. A purge is the process by which old data is removed from the system database.

Purges minimize the number of unused database records to increase search efficiency and reduce the size of the required physical disk. In Purge Criteria, default purge rules are provided. These can be modified for your system operations.

Table 1 lists the purge rules provided for load document types in Sterling Order Management System Software.
