Configuring a return document's shipment specific components
To complete a return document's lifecycle, each document has a set of different processes that it can go through. These processes are called process types. Every return document has a defined set of process types in Sterling™ Order Management System Software.
Note: Return fulfillment requires sourcing configuration, which is accessible through
the Distributed Order Management configuration grouping.
The following process types are defined in Sterling Order Management System Software for the return document types:
- Fulfillment
- Negotiation
- Shipment
- Receipt
- Receipt
You can configure the rules and components specific to a return document's shipment process type.
