Searching audit inventory
The audit inventory search option provides a simple user interface to perform inventory audits in your system.
Procedure
- Log in to Order Hub.

Click Inventory (
) and select Audit.
- Customize search criteria provides the capability to configure the search fields that display on the page. This option provides other fields to help you narrow your search results. In the Customize search page, you can update the search criteria and click the save icon to save the criteria for future searches. You can also create your own group of search items to be displayed in the search field.
- You can search for all audit inventory (default option) or you can select your saved audit search criteria from the drop-down list.
- In the Search for field, select either inventory supply audit or inventory demand audit that you want to search. Based on option that is selected, you see a Supply type or Demand type field. Examples of Supply type includes the following: on-hand, inbound, on purchase, and scheduled. Examples of Demand type includes the following: schedules, plans, quotation marks, and orders. These examples provide you with the capability to configure the audit search fields and help you to narrow your audit search results.

From the Enterprise list, select the enterprise within which you want to
search for inventory items.
Note: The Enterprise list is displayed only if more than one enterprise exists within your network. If your network has only one enterprise, it is selected by default.

You can search for a specific item or SKU or view all the inventory in the selected enterprise:
- To search for a specific item or SKU, enter the complete item ID or SKU in the Is field.
- To search by using a part of the item ID or SKU, enter a part of the search string in the Contains field.
- To search by using the starting number of the item ID or SKU, enter the starting search string in the Starts with field.
- To view all the inventory in the selected enterprise, leave the Item ID or SKU field blank.
Note: The search is case-sensitive. - Select the product class of the item or SKU from the Product class field. Product classes depend on your tenant and your definitions. For example, NEW, Damaged, Good, and Open box.

Select the unit of measure of the item or SKU from the Unit of measure
field. Unit of measure depends on your tenant and your unit of measure definitions. For example,
Case or Each.
Note: You can enable or disable Product class and Unit of measure features globally for your tenant. You can update these changes under the Settings > Configuration tab.
- Include unpublished items: Enable this toggle to see the unpublished items in the search results.

Searching by Date range: Select the date range to filter the search.
- If you use IBM® Sterling Global Inventory Visibility, select one of the following date ranges: Today, last 1 hour, last 24 hours, last week (default), last 14 days, last month, or last year.
- If you use IBM Sterling Intelligent Promising Inventory Visibility, select one of the following date ranges: Today, last 24 hours, or last week (default).

Custom range: You can also select Custom range
and choose either Relative or Absolute date range.
- Relative date range: allows you to select a date and time period that is relative to the current date. Using relative date range allows you to create inventory reports that you can run periodically without needing to alter your query.
- Absolute date range: allows you to select a start date and time, and select an end date and time. The data items are displayed whose beginning and end dates and times are within the specified date range.

Searching by Custom attribute filters:
If you have defined custom attributes that include a supply business purpose, you can filter your search by the custom attributes. Select the custom attributes to refine your search accordingly.
Custom attribute filters are not shown in the search if they are not defined for supply. To define custom attributes for this purpose, go to Configuration > Custom attributes. Then, set the purpose of a new or existing custom attribute to Supply. For more information, see Managing custom attributes.Important: The custom attribute filters capability is available only for IBM Sterling Intelligent Promising Inventory Visibility users. To enable and start using Order Hub with IBM Sterling Intelligent Promising Inventory Visibility, contact your IBM Account Representative. -
Searching by Reference filters:
- Reference type: Use the reference type attribute to define any identifier that you might need for your records. For in-store purchases through a Point of Sale system, you might want to set the referenceType as POS.
- Reference: Use the reference attribute to define any identifier that you might need for your records. For example, for in-store purchases through a Point of Sale system, you might want to set the reference as systemGeneratedBarcode.
Important: The reference filters capability is available only for IBM Sterling Intelligent Promising Inventory Visibility users. To enable and start using Order Hub with IBM Sterling Intelligent Promising Inventory Visibility, contact your IBM Account Representative. -
You can use additional Inventory filters for searching the audit details
of an item or SKU. You can search for inventory node or distribution group.
- Searching by node: Select the Node radio button and click Select nodes to search for an item by node. In the Select nodes page, select the nodes from the given list and click Save.
- Searching by distribution group: Select the Distribution group radio button to search for an item by distribution group. Select the distribution group from the Inventory distribution group list.

You can search All inventory or you can search inventory by
Segementation type.
- Searching by unsegmented inventory: The Unsegmented inventory option is selected by default. Unsegmented inventory is used to search for inventory that is available to all and not for a particular segment.
- Searching by segmented inventory: Select the Segmented inventory radio button to search for an item or SKU by segments. Segments represent items that are allocated for a particular customer. Select the segment type from the Segment type list and segment from the Segment list. There are two types of segment types: Made to customer and Made to order. Optionally, you can enter the segment name in the Segment field.
- Searching by all inventory: Select the All inventory radio button to search for both unsegmented and segmented inventory.
Important:- The segmentation capability is available only for Sterling Order Management System Software and IBM Sterling Global Inventory Visibility users.
- The segmentation capability is not available when using Sterling Order Management System Software and IBM Sterling Intelligent Promising Inventory Visibility.
- The segmentation capability is not available when using only IBM Sterling Intelligent Promising Inventory Visibility.

Click Search.
The Search results page displays a list of valid audit entries for items and SKUs. It has the date, name, UOM, product class, node, quantity change, on hand quantity, supply type, reference, and reference type.
- You can also save the audit search. Save search saves the audit search criteria for future use. After you save, you can reload the saved criteria by clicking Saved searches at the top of the page and select your saved search. You can also perform other actions such as edit, delete etc.

Alternatively, you can also view the audit details in the SKU details
page. Click the Audit history tab in SKU details page to
view the audit details.
Important:
- You may see some grayed out sections when using Order Hub software version. This capability is available only when using IBM Sterling Intelligent Promising Inventory Visibility. If you want to remove the grayed out sections from the UI, contact your IBM Account Representative.
