Extend the reports
Based on your business requirements, you can add reports in Business Intelligence. For customizing the reports, you must clearly understand the business requirements and the report layout. Ensure that the metrics and the dimensions required are available in the model. If the metrics and dimensions are not available, modify the model to meet your business requirements.
Prerequisites: To extend and customize the reports, you must be familiar with the task of authoring reports in IBM® Cognos® Report Studio.
Note:
- It is recommended that you must not modify or delete the existing reports.
- Any customizations made to the report are overwritten when you upgrade Business Intelligence.
- All report customizations must be saved in the Sterling Analytics/Sterling Analytics Package(Sterling TOC)/Dashboards folder in the Content Store.
