Data extraction

The transformed data from the data mart can be extracted and loaded into your data warehouse. You can extract data for a specific time period using an ETL tool. The extracted file contains information about the metadata extracted from the data mart.

If you are using Infosphere Datastage, refer to IBM InfoSphere Information Server documentation for more information about data extraction. If you are using any other ETL tool, refer to the corresponding product documentation for more information.
