About the Business Intelligence component

The Business Intelligence Data Model is a metadata model created using the Framework Manager. This Data Model is used to build Cognos® 8 reports. You view reports generated by Report Studio with Cognos Connection, which is used for security administration.

Note: Operational reports are supported only in sharded deployments when sharding is set up by enterprise within an Oracle database.
