Integrating with Apache Kafka

Apache Kafka is supported as an external integration capability for Sterling™ Order Management System Software.

Currently, Sterling Order Management System Software can send messages to a Kafka topic by using the new Kafka transport component (sender mode) in the IBM® Sterling Order Management System Software service definition framework. The same can be used as part of a synchronous or asynchronous service in Applications Manager, as part of process modelling.
