Operating system security
This topic describes the operating system security.
The Center for Internet Security (CIS) has produced hardening checklists or benchmarks that are specific to each operating system. The CIS also produces tools to help assess the compliance of systems to CIS benchmarks.
Important: It is strongly recommended that you review
and consider the hardening guidelines found in the CIS Benchmarks.
The choices you make should be in line with your corporate standards.
