Setting up multischema by using the Operator

You can set up multischema in your container environment by using the Operator for efficient management and automation.

Multischema functions with OOB images and the Operator in create and upgrade modes.
  • Create mode: Mount the sandbox and multischema files to the pod. Additional customer overrides might also be required.
  • Upgrade mode: Avoid mounting the sandbox file, as it is unnecessary and causes the process to fail. If the sandbox file is not mounted, the upgrade proceeds successfully.

Procedure

  1. Populate the database by using the dataManagement parameter of the Operator by either customizing images or using OOB images. For more information, see Populating the database by using data management of Operator.
  2. Deploy the app and agent servers to enable multischema. For more information, see Deploying app and agent servers.
