Prerequisites for extending your application

Before you extend your application, make sure that all prerequisites are satisfied.

This guide assumes that you:

• Have already installed the application.
• Are familiar with creating and running the Enterprise Archive (EAR) file in deployment mode.
• Are familiar with the standard (factory default) installation.

Throughout this guide, INSTALL_DIR refers to the directory where you have installed .
