In a standard deployment of , any configuration changes made within the Resource Hierarchy tree do not take effect until the application server has been restarted. This means that testing your UI extensions can be a time-consuming activity. These actions can only be enabled in a development environment. They do not work in a deployment environment. This section explains how to enable these actions. These actions should be disabled in a deployment environment.
