Creating a new device from a device

You can create a new device from a device.

About this task

To create a new device from a device:

1. Open the Applications Manager and select the application that you want.
2. From the tree in the application rules side panel, choose Device. The Device Setup window displays.
3. In the Device Setup window, select the relevant Device Type and Device Sub Type whose Device is to be copied.
4. The list of Devices displays. Select the Device to be copied to create a new device.
5. Choose the Save As icon. The Device pop-up window displays.
6. Enter information in the applicable fields. Refer to Table 1 for field value descriptions.
7. Choose the Save icon.
