Non-transactional events

Non-transactional events are triggered periodically to publish different types of master or configuration data sets. For example, sending items to an enterprise, ship nodes, and so on. Typically, a background process (agent) publishes the non-transactional events.

These events can be used to sync data from Sterling™ Order Management System Software to other applications. For this purpose, a new agent called Data Publish agent has been added. The agent publishes three events: enterpriseSync, productSync, and shipNodeSync.
