As a System Administrator or an Enterprise Administrator, you can perform a basic
customer search using the Customer Search screen.
About this task
To search
for a business customer, use the following procedure:
Procedure
- Navigate to the
Customer Search screen. To navigate to the Customer Search screen,
perform the following steps:

Log in to Sterling
Business Center as an
administrator.
- From the Customer Home page,
click Find Customer in the Customer dashlet.
The Customer Search screen is displayed.
- In the Basic Customer Search panel, select Business
Customer.
- In the Customer ID Contains box, enter the complete
or partial identifier of the customer you want to search for.
- In the Company Starts With box,
enter either the complete or the initials of the company you want
to search for.
Note: This search criteria is available
only when you select the Business Customer radio
button.
- In the E-mail Starts With box, enter
either the complete or the initials, of the E-mail ID of the customer
you want to search for.
- In the Day Phone box, enter either
the complete or partial day phone number of the customer you want
to search for.
- In the Postal Code box, enter either
the complete or partial day postal code of the customer you want to
search for.
- From the Order By drop-down list,
select the alphabetical order in which you want the search results
to be displayed.
- Click Search.
The customers matching the search criteria
are displayed. However, if there is only one customer matching the
search criteria, the Primary Information screen is displayed.
