Service request instructions

You can add instructions to a service request in this screen.

Fields Description
Return # The unique identifier of the return order. Click this link to view the order details.
Line # The line number of the service.
Status The status of the service request.
Item ID The item identifier of the service.
UOM The unit of measure in which the service is calculated.
Line Quantity The line quantity used to measure the service.
Description The description of the service.
Appointment The date and time of the appointment.
Return To Node The node handling the return.

Action Description
Delete Instruction This action enables you to delete the selected instructions. Upon clicking this action, an alert window appears to confirm the deletion of instructions.
Fields
Instruction Type The type of instruction, such as Gift, Pick, Pack, Ship, or Other.
Text The specific instructions to be performed on the order.

Specify the instruction URL next to the Instructions URL icon.

You can also use the Instructions window for:

  • Adding an Instruction - Select the Add icon to add instruction lines and enter the relevant information in the fields as discussed in the Instructions table.
  • Modifying an Instruction - The information in the Instructions screen can be modified by entering the modified information and clicking Save.

Once the instructions are added, Instructions icon displays in the corresponding Service Request line in the Return Detail screen.
