Add price to a price type for items in a price list

A pricing administrator can add price to each of the price type that is defined for the selected item.

Procedure

  1. Navigate to the Price List Summary screen. To navigate to the Price List Summary screen, perform the following steps:
    1. Log in to Sterling™ Business Center as pricing administrator.
    2. The application home page is displayed. Click the Pricing tab.
    3. From the Pricing home page, click Find Price List in the Pricing dashlet.
    4. The Price List Search screen is displayed. In the Basic Price List Search panel, enter the search criteria, and then click Search to perform a basic search. Alternatively, click Advanced Search, enter the search criteria, and then click Search to perform an advanced search.
    5. The price lists matching the search criteria are displayed. Click the Price List ID hyperlink or double-click the row corresponding to the price list. The Price List Summary screen is displayed.
      Note: If there is only one price list matching the search criteria, the details of the corresponding price list are automatically displayed.
  2. Click the Create hyperlink in the Price Type column to assign a price type to the price list line. The Associate Price Type dialog box is displayed.
    Note: You may not be able to assign price type for items in a price list, if the corresponding item in the price list line is not associated a price type.
  3. From the Price Type drop-down box, choose the price type that is defined for the selected item.
    Note: The Price Type drop-down box will list all the price types that are defined for the selected item.
  4. In the Price box, enter the corresponding amount which needs to be associated with the selected price type.
    Note: The Description and the Recurring Type columns in the Associate Price Type dialog box are read-only.
  5. Click Add Price Type to assign new price type for the items. A new row is added. Repeat step 3 and 4 to specify another price type for the items.
  6. Click Save to save the changes.
  7. Click Close to save the changes and close the Associate Price Type dialog box.
