Defining region usage for selling

You can define the region schema the organization you are configuring uses for selling.

About this task

For example, if you are configuring an organization that offers a product that is associated with a region schema in a given metro area region and a suburb region, the organization may want to charge more for the product in the metro area than in the suburbs. In this case, you would want to associate a region schema to configure different product pricing for the different regions.

Similarly, you can use region schemas to define different entitlements for different regions. For example, you can define a region schema that restricts users in Massachusetts from being able to view and purchase firearms online.
