Assigning a Usage to an Attribute in a Classification

You can assign a usage to an attribute to specify about how the attribute will be used in a classification.

However, you can assign a usage to an attribute only if you have assigned the corresponding classification purpose to the classification. For example, you can specify the usage Searchable attributes for an attribute in a classification only when you have specified the Searchable Attributes classification purpose.

You can assign a usage to an attribute in a classification that has been assigned the following purposes:

• Specifications
• Searchable Attributes
• Item with Variations

You can assign a usage to an attribute in a classification from the Classification Management screen.
