Custom locale support: The ability to add custom locales enables the use of other languages that are not available in the as-shipped product. Advanced B2B capabilities - new contract management enhancements

Sterling Order Management System Software advanced business-to-business (B2B) capabilities includes the following enhancements in this release:

Ability to use and add hot keys when creating contract orders: Improve navigation efficiency and productivity when creating contract orders by using hot keys, or keyboard shortcuts. You can also create hot keys for custom fields that you created. For more information, see Creating contract orders and Adding custom hot keys.

Ability to add multiple contract order line items from CSV files: Reduce time and improve efficiencies when adding multiple products at once to contract orders by uploading a CSV file. For more information, see Creating contract orders.

Ability to add a single line item to contract orders: Quickly add a single product to a contract order if you know the part or all of the SKU number. For more information, see Creating contract orders.

Ability to select buyer and seller organizations for contract orders: You can now refine your contract orders by selecting specific buyer and seller organizations. For more information, see Creating contract orders.

New B2B video for creating contract orders: Added a new video to the B2B video series that shows you how to create contract orders. To view, see Creating contract orders.

All Order Hub repositories are now migrated to Angular v18: The final two repositories, buc-app-order and buc-app-inventory were migrated to Angular v18. Now, all repositories are on Angular v18. For more information, see Angular and Carbon versions.

Advanced B2B capabilities - initial release

Sterling Order Management System Software now supports advanced business-to-business (B2B) capabilities. These capabilities help to empower account managers to effectively manage large, complex contract orders, provide efficient order fulfillment, and maintain strong, up-to-date communication that strengthens long-term partnerships. Order Hub, with its intuitive interface, provides dashboards, wizards, and key insights and metrics to support advanced B2B capabilities. This release is the initial release of the advanced B2B capabilities. Some of the key features that address the B2B-related operational tasks are in the following sections.

For more information about how to use Sterling Order Management System Software to manage large, complex B2B accounts, contracts, and orders, see Managing B2B operations.

B2B account management: Account management features provide metrics and insights that help account managers make data-driven decisions and proactively tackle potential issues. The initial release includes a new account dashboard that has various sections to show KPIs. These KPIs help account managers to analyze sales data and order trends. Having access to these data visualizations in real-time helps account managers to identify and address issues and opportunities in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. You can customize the dashboard to create a tailored experience that focuses on what matters to you, which boosts productivity. For more information, see Account management.

B2B contract management: Contract management features provide administration and simplification of complex contracts between businesses, helping to ensure that all parties fulfill their obligations and commitments. A B2B contract order outlines the agreement between a buyer and a seller. This action occurs for the supply of goods or services over a specified period. With this initial release, account managers can create contract orders, create and assign groups, and view contract order lists, lines, and details. This visibility into contract orders helps them to track how orders are progressing and help make sure timely fulfillment that meets their customers' expectations. B2B order management: Order management features provide streamlined order management and tracking processes for one-time and recurring sales orders that are created from contract orders. B2B order management involves creating and managing the recurring sales orders that are associated with contract orders and one-time orders for B2B customers. With this initial release, account managers can create sales orders from contract orders, confirm sales orders, which moves them from a draft state to an active state, and view sales orders. Additional Order Hub repository that is migrated to Angular v18

The buc-app-configuration repository was migrated to Angular v18. The buc-app-order and buc-app-inventory repositories are still on Angular v15. For more information, see Angular and Carbon versions.

The Order Hub framework is now on Angular v18: To leverage the latest UI features, mitigate security vulnerability, and improve overall user experience, the Order Hub framework is now on Angular v18 with three exceptions. The buc-app-order, buc-app-configuration, and buc-app-inventory repositories are still on Angular v15. For more information, see Angular and Carbon versions.
Ability to change your user profile and password in Order Hub: Introduced the ability for on-premises customers to change their user profile information and password in the Order Hub user interface. For more information, see Changing your user profile.
Ability to customize and filter the enterprise drop-down menu: You can now use the getOrganizationList API to customize and filter the options for the drop-down menu. For more information, see Implementing enterprise filtering in a drop-down menu
