Reassigning pending shipments or order releases

You might need to reassign pending shipments or order releases to other available nodes for various reasons. For example, a node cannot fulfill orders due to an outage or a customer wants to change pick up locations.

If you identify that a node is unable to fulfill assigned shipments, you can reassign all or some of the pending shipments in the node to other available nodes. You can also reassign order releases if you identify that the status of the order releases is not progressing as expected. In all cases, the order status must be on or after Released and before Shipped.

Assigning the releases to other available nodes helps to reduce the workload of the original node and also ensures that the SLA is met.
