Adding delivery requests

You can add a delivery request at the order level for deliveries that do not need item association.

To add a delivery request at the order line level and associate the delivery with a specific item, see Associating delivery requests.

Procedure

  1. Log in to Order Hub.
  2. Click Orders > Outbound and search for the sales order that you want to update.
  3. Select a search result to go to the Order details page.
  4. From the Order details page, you can add a request from various places.
    • From the Actions menu, select Actions > Add delivery request.
    • If an order line item has an associated delivery service, then from the Order lines table, click the delivery truck icon (Delivery truck icon).
  5. Select the delivery services that need to be completed.
    The options that appear are based on the delivery service options that are configured in Applications Manager or in Sterling Business Center. For more information, see
  6. Select a modification reason code, and optionally add a description.
  7. Click Add to order.
    The service is added to the Order details page > Delivery requests table.
