Supported data sources and targets in IBM Optim Data Privacy
IBM® Optim supports integration with a focused set of structured and semi-structured data sources, enabling secure and flexible test data provisioning across enterprise environments.
IBM Optim is compatible with both traditional systems and modern cloud-native architectures.
Supported database connections
IBM Optim connection manager manages data source connectivity and configures it through the IBM Optim directory metadata repository. IBM Optim supports connections by using the IBM common connectivity interface.
Some connection types have limitations. For more information, see Known issues and limitations.
Tech preview Some connections are provided as technical previews. Technical preview connections are not fully supported by IBM and should not be used in production environments. Use technical previews to evaluate and test new connectivity options in your development environment while IBM completes end-to-end validation. To see technical preview connections, enable the Tech preview option on the new connection page.
You can define the following types of databases as source or target connections in your IBM Optim flows.
