Step 5. (Optional) Configure an external security mechanism

If you use an ESM (external security manager) that supports the RACROUTE macro and the FACILITY class, you can configure Operations Manager to use the ESM as its authorization mechanism instead of using its own internal authorization mechanism. You can control which users have authority to issue which commands through the ESM, as well as which users can view the consoles and spool files of specific or all users.
