Backing up and copying the OpenPages application production files for an Oracle database

The exported data from the production backup file will be used later to refresh data on the test server.

Procedure

  1. Log on to your production IBM OpenPages® server as a user with administrative permissions.
  2. Run the OpenPages backup utility (OPBackup) to back up the OpenPages application database.
    For more information, see The OPBackup utility (Oracle).
  3. Copy the backup .zip or .tar.gz file to your test server.
