Creating objects from a Dashboard panel

You can create objects from a Dashboard panel.

Before you begin

Verify that your Dashboard contains a panel that allows you to create objects. If you do not have such a panel, you might be able to create one, depending on your permissions. For more information, see Adding a custom panel.

About this task

From this access point, the parent object is not known. The view contains a relationship field that allows you to select a parent object.

Procedure

  1. Click Home page shortcut.
  2. Look for a panel that allows you to create objects. Click a create button in a panel that has button with a label such as Create Control or Create Risk.
    The Creation View opens.
  3. Complete the steps as described in Creating objects from a Grid View.
  4. Click Save.
