Configuring Integrations
OpenPages® can be integrated with
IBM watsonx Assistant , IBM Watson® Language
Translator language translators, such as NeuralSeek , natural language processing
services, custom Machine Learning models, and Watson services on IBM Cloud Pak® for Data .
Out-of-the-box AI model configurations
IBM OpenPages provides preconfigured AI model configurations that administrators can enable by supplying provider credentials, without requiring custom model development or prompt design.
IBM watsonx Orchestrate Chat
Integrate IBM watsonx Orchestrate Chat with OpenPages to enable users to interact with AI agents through conversational chat, access contextual insights, and perform actions directly within their workflow.
OpenPages MCP server
Learn to configure and deploy a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that enables AI agents to interact with the OpenPages GRC platform through a standardized interface. For flexible deployment, the SaaS MCP server can be deployed for remote mode. The MCP server can also be integrated with the IBM watsonx Orchestrate embedded chat.
IBM watsonx Assistant
Configure an assistant and integrate it with OpenPages so that users can ask free-format questions and receive answers by using a chat bot.
Translation services
When you integrate translation services into OpenPages , all users can translate text as they work.
Natural language processing services
Configure a natural language processing service and integrate it with OpenPages so that users have support when they classify objects and make object associations. A natural language processing service understands the intent behind text and returns suggestions, together with a confidence score.
Custom Machine Learning Models
The Custom Machine Learning Models integration feature gives you the ability to deploy models and use input data from OpenPages fields to generate live insights and suggestions in OpenPages views. You can customize how the insights are displayed.
Importing a certificate for connections to services on IBM Cloud Pak for Data
If you're integrating with Watson services on IBM Cloud Pak for Data and you're using a self-signed certificate or an unknown CA certificate, you must import a certificate from IBM Cloud Pak for Data to the local truststore. The certificate is needed to build a secure connection between the OpenPages application servers and the services that are running on IBM Cloud Pak for Data .
Exporting OpenPages data to be used by other applications
You can export data from OpenPages to be used outside of OpenPages in dashboarding and reporting applications, for Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and for other AI-based models.
Extensions
Extensions enable administrators to connect IBM OpenPages to virtually any endpoint that exposes an API, enabling advanced use cases such as running FAIR or Monte Carlo simulations, etc.
Webhooks
Webhooks enable real-time event-driven communication between IBM OpenPages and external systems. It empowers developers and administrators to build more responsive and interconnected solutions using OpenPages.
