Data Privacy Management enhancements in 8.3.0

Version 8.3 includes several enhancements to IBM OpenPages® Data Privacy Management (DPM).

New dashboard

IBM OpenPages Data Privacy Management includes a new dashboard.

A dashboard is displayed in OpenPages. The dashboard includes a panel that is called My Tasks with a color-coded bar that shows the status of the tasks. Another panel shows a colorful pie graph of Resources by physical location.

New workflow

DPM includes two sample workflows. You can use them as-is or modify them to meet your requirements. The sample workflows can also be used as templates and learning tools for your own workflows.
Privacy Impact Assessment

This workflow helps organizations to manage the privacy impact assessment process. When a newdata asset (resource) is imported into Watson Knowledge Catalog, the Privacy Impact Assessment workflow starts automatically and guides privacy officers through the assessment process.

Data Protection Impact Assessment

This workflow helps organizations to manage the data protection impact assessment (DPIA) process. The workflow uses questionnaire assessments to help privacy officers and data stewards to completeDPIA assessments.

New role templates

Role templates for Data Privacy Management are now included with OpenPages.
