Using the predefined situations

To help you begin monitoring quickly, OMEGAMON for z/OS provides a number of predefined situations. These situations monitor for conditions that are typically considered to be problematic or noteworthy and trigger event indicators in the Navigator when those conditions occur.

You must distribute and start the predefined situations before they can begin monitoring. You should evaluate each situation carefully and adjust its thresholds before you start monitoring.
