Gateway Daemon Resources workspace

The Gateway Daemon Resources workspace provides detailed information about the various threads running in the selected CICS TG daemon.

This workspace contains these views:

• The Connection Manager Threads Allocated bar chart shows statistics regarding the status of Connection Manager threads within the selected CICS TG. This includes the number of threads created and available within the thread pool, the number currently allocated to a connected client application, and the number of allocated threads that are waiting for a Worker thread to become available.
• The Worker Threads Allocated bar chart shows statistics regarding the status of Worker threads within the selected CICS TG. This includes the number of threads created and available within the thread pool and the number currently allocated to a connected client application allowing a work request to be flowed through to CICS®.
• The Connection Manager Threads Summary table view provides detailed information about the current CICS TG's allocation and use of Connection Manager threads.
• The Worker Threads Summary table view provides detailed information about the selected CICS TG's allocation and use of Worker threads.

The Gateway Daemon Resources workspace is built from attributes provided by the CICSTG Connection Manager Threads attribute group and the CICSTG Worker Threads attribute group.
