IBM Z OMEGAMON Web UI provides a graphical interface for monitoring performance data collected by OMEGAMON AI for CICS. It provides user-friendly visualizations that make complex performance data of CICS easier to understand and act on. It is available as a component in Tivoli® Management Services on z/OS 6.4.

Components
The key components in OMEGAMON Web UI help improve how performance data is visualized:
  • OMEGAMON Gateway, which acts as the main communication hub.
  • Admin User Interface (UI) enables users to manage TEMS connections and effectively monitor Situations.
  • OMEGAMON Web UI supports real-time data queries, giving quick access to important information.
  • OMEGAMON Dashboards provide customizable, interactive visualizations that allow users to tailor their monitoring experience to specific requirements.

  • Access to enhanced starter dashboards, with the ability to create and customize dashboards for specific operational or team monitoring needs.
  • The ability to define and manage Situations for real-time monitoring of critical conditions.
  • The capacity to receive immediate notifications and set up automated responses when thresholds are exceeded.
  • The Query Editor provides an intuitive interface for building and running queries.
  • Existing E3270UI and Tivoli Enterprise Portal (TEP) workspaces can also be imported into dashboards on Grafana, allowing reuse of previously created monitoring views.

Additionally, OMEGAMON Web UI supports integration with identity providers like Keycloak and other OpenID Connect (OIDC)-compliant systems, enabling secure authentication and authorization to control access to dashboards and Situations through role-based permissions.
