OMEGAMON for CICS (3270) address space
This information describes the OMEGAMON for CICS (3270), which is an address space that is separate from the CICS® address space. OMEGAMON for CICS (3270) can accept commands from either a member of its parameter library or a z/OS® operator’s console.
With these commands you can do any of the following:
- Start the OMEGAMON for CICS (3270) monitoring sessions with a different set of startup parameters for each session. For example, each session can pass the address of a different, dedicated, local 3270 to use as its output device.
- Start the OBVTAM OMEGAMON for CICS (3270) VTAM® application. When this program is running under the OMEGAMON for CICS (3270), any 3270 terminal in your VTAM network (depending on authorization) can log on to the program and have its own OMEGAMON for CICS (3270) session.
- Display all subtasks currently running under the OMEGAMON for CICS (3270).
- Stop any subtask running under the OMEGAMON for CICS (3270).
