Standard DD names for the OMEGAMON for CICS (3270) address space
The following definitions apply to the Data definition (DD) names found in the OMEGAMON AI for CICS files for the OMEGAMON for CICS (3270) address space.
These are standard throughout all Tivoli-supplied JCL, PROCs, and CLISTs.
- RKOCPROC
- The data sets where OMEGAMON for CICS (3270) screen spaces are read. A data set in the RKOCPROC concatenation is treated as read-only.
- RKOCPCSV
- The data set where a site’s OMEGAMON for CICS (3270) screen spaces are written. RKOCPCSV cannot be concatenated.
- RKOCPROF
- The data sets where user profiles are read. A data set in the RKOCPROF concatenation is treated as read-only.
- RKOCPFSV
- The data set where a site’s user profiles are written. RKOCPFSV cannot be concatenated.
- RKANHENU
- The data sets that contain the OMEGAMON for CICS (3270) command help panels.
- RKANPAR
- The data set that contains the commands to start the collector subtask.
- RKLVSNAP
- The data set that formatted dumps or summary dumps are directed to in the event of an abend. The default configuration assigns this to SYSOUT. The value of the SDUMP() parameter determines if these dumps are used: The SDUMP(N) parameter directs a formatted dump to this dataset; the SDUMP(S) parameter directs a summary dump; the default value is the SDUMP(Y) parameter, which directs the dump to a system dump data set (SYS1.DUMPxx).
These are specific to OMEGAMON AI for CICS on z/OS:
- RKC2GLBL
- The data set that contains the Global Data Areas, which control the monitoring options for CICS® regions.
- RKC2XMnn
- This DD DUMMY name is only required if you have more than one OMEGAMON for CICS (3270) address space; the nn value identifies the OMEGAMON for CICS (3270) . The nn value can be 00 to 15 and defaults to 00 so the RKC2XM00 DD statement is not required.
