Configuration prerequisites

Before you configure OMEGAMON AI for CICS, you must have completed the following tasks:

• Installed the product package. See the IBM Z OMEGAMON AI for CICS: Program Directory.
• Configured a monitoring server.
• If your hub Tivoli Enterprise Monitoring Server is running on a distributed platform, then you must install IBM Tivoli Monitoring V6.3.0 Fix Pack 2.
• If your hub Tivoli Enterprise Monitoring Server is running on a z/OS operating system but is not installed into the same CSI as OMEGAMON AI for CICS, then you must install these required PTFs:
  • PTFs UA70676 and UA70677 for FMID HKLV630
  • PTFs UA70675 and UA70678 for FMID HKDS630
  • PTF for FMID HKCI310
