Monitoring CICS TG daemons bound to a TCPIP stack other than the one OMEGAMON AI for CICS TG Agent is bound to
On the same z/OSĀ® LPAR, when the OMEGAMON AI for CICS TG Agent is not bound to the same TCPIP stack as is the monitored Gateway daemon, the agent must be provided with the IP address or hostname where the Gateway daemon is active, so that a successful remote connection can be established and statistical information can be collected.
Define the hostname or IP address of your Gateway daemon using the
KGW_SAnn_CTG_DAEMON_HOST parameter during configuration.
Note: The value for this
parameter should be equivalent to the value for the
Bind= parameter, as specified
in CICSĀ® TG configuration file (ctg.ini).After successful completion of the reconfiguration, review the KGWSAPIP member in the &rhilev
.RKANPARU data set. Verify that your newly defined INCLUDE statement has been added:
INCLUDE=(jobname,statsport,bindaddress)
