Common system area
The Common System Area (CSA) is a common area in CICS® that contains status indicators and controls CICS activity.
The CSA display presents selected fields from the CSA in four categories: general, counts and limits, addresses, and status. Status information highlights certain exceptional conditions such as short-on-storage (SOS) or MAXTASKS.
To display the CSA as shown in Figure 1, select the CSA option (C) on the CICS path or enter fast path C.C from any panel.
You can enter CMXT or DUMP after CSA to display Classes or the system dump.
