Running Discovery Agent on MVS

After you customize Discovery Agent, you can run job zAgent on MVS.

Running ZAGENT as a JCL job

You can run the ZAGENT file as a JCL job. Go to the ZAGENT JCL file, update the parameters according to the descriptions in the JCL and submit the job. The running log is stored in the dataset BPXOUT. The error messages is reported in the dataset BPXERR.

Note: You must have the authority to access the discovery-agent-1.3.1.2 directory, BPXOUT, and BPXERR datasets and run the discovery_agent.jar file.
