• By following definition guidelines and maintaining dataset masks
• By following historical data collection guidelines
• By following wildcard usage guidelines

• By using a single LPAR to collect cache controller and DASD space information
• By sharing information collected by an LPAR with all LPARs reporting to the same Tivoli® Enterprise Monitoring Server
