Diagnosing AT-TLS connection failures

A connection failure occurs when the RDM server and Application server do not both have encryption enabled, or when the Application server is being used as both the self client and receiver, and encryption is not enabled for both.

Situations that cause connection failures

During a connection failure, error messages are displayed both in the Standard Output (STDOUT) and in the AT-TLS log file. The following topics describe each of the four error conditions and the error messages displayed for each.

For more information on AT-TLS and how it works, see Application Transparent Transport Layer Security (AT-TLS).
