UDP Statistics workspace

The UDP Statistics workspace displays UDP protocol statistics for the selected the TCP/IP stack on z/OS v1.12 or later systems.

Note: This workspace is available only on systems running on z/OS v1.12 or later.

To display the UDP Statistics workspace, do the following steps:

  1. Click the TCP/IP Stack Layers Navigator item.
  2. Right-click the TCP/IP Stack Layers Navigator item.
  3. Click UDP Statistics.

The UDP Endpoints workspace provides the following views:

  • Datagrams Sent and Received: Displays the number of datagrams received or datagrams sent since TCP/IP initialization. The y-axis is the count of datagrams. The x-axis includes two bars: one denoting the UDP datagrams received and one denoting the UDP datagrams sent since TCP/IP initialization. The information is presented in a bar graph where:
    • Yellow represents Total Datagrams Received.
    • Blue represents the Total Datagrams Sent.
  • No Port Count or Input Datagrams in Error: Displays the number of UDP input datagrams for which no application can be found at the destination port and the number of input datagrams that could not be delivered for reasons other than a lack of an application at the destination port since TCP/IP initialization. The y-axis is the count of datagrams. The x-axis is made up of two bars: one bar denoting the number of No Port Count input datagrams and one bar denoting the number of input datagrams in error since TCP/IP initialization. The information is presented in a bar graph where:
    • Yellow represents Total No Port Count.
    • Blue represents the Total Input Datagrams in Error
  • UDP Statistics Summary table: Provides UDP protocol statistics for the selected the TCP/IP stack on z/OS v1.12 or later systems.
