Enterprise OSA-Express Ports Overview workspace

The Enterprise OSA-Express Ports Overview workspace displays summary information for all OSA-Express3/4S ports, OSA-Express4s ports, and OSA-Express ports across your enterprise. This workspace is designed to work withIBM® Z OMEGAMON® AI for Networks V5.1.0 agents and later. Monitoring agents running with earlier versions of IBM® Z OMEGAMON® AI for Networks cannot display data in this workspace. The attributes in this workspace are available from all supported versions of z/OS.

Long-term history is not displayed in the Enterprise Network workspaces. The queries in the Enterprise Networks workspaces use clauses that are not supported by Tivoli Data Warehouse. You can view long-term history for the same attribute groups from workspaces accessed from the physical navigator.

The Enterprise OSA-Express Ports Overview workspace requires that an administrator has assigned the Tivoli Enterprise Portal user access to the Enterprise Networks navigator view using the Administer Users dialog. See the IBM® Z OMEGAMON® AI for Networks: Tivoli Enterprise Portal User’s Guide for information about assigning this role. If you do not have access, contact your system administrator.

To display the Enterprise OSA-Express Ports Overview workspace, do the following:

Select Enterprise_Networks from the View drop-down menu in the Navigator view.
Select the Enterprise OSA-Express Ports Overview workspace from the Enterprise Networks Navigator view.
Click the Link icon in this row and select the Enterprise OSA-Express Ports Overview workspace.

The Enterprise OSA-Express Ports Overview workspace contains the following views:

Enterprise Network Navigation: Provides quick access to all enterprise-level workspaces. See Figure 4 for more information.
OSA-Express3/4S Ports Errors > 0: Displays the names of OSA-Express 3 ports across the enterprise with errors. The information is presented in a stacked bar graph, where:
- Yellow represents Missed Packets.
- Blue represents CRC Errors.
- Pink represents Not Stored Frames Received.
- Green represents Sequence Errors.
- Cyan represents Alignment Errors.
