Connections workspace
The Connections workspace displays information that identifies current connections and performance information on connections with current activity.
This workspace is displayed by clicking on the Connections Navigator item of any monitored TCP/IP stack.
The Connections workspace displays the following views:
- Current Byte Rate >= 2048: Displays the number of bytes sent or received, per minute, during the most recent time interval by connection number or ID as a bar chart.
- Current Datagram Rate > 0: Displays the number of datagrams, per minute, transmitted to or from connections during the most recent time interval as a bar chart.
- Current Retransmits > 0: Displays the retransmits in
the last sample and the total retransmits by connection number or
ID as a bar chart, where:
- Yellow represents Retransmits Last Sample.
- Blue represents Total Retransmits.
- Response Time > 0.2 Seconds: Displays the response time
and response time variance, in 1/10 seconds, by connection number
or ID as a bar chart, where:
- Yellow represents Response Time.
- Blue represents Response Time Variance.
- Connections Summary table: Displays performance summary data for each TCP/IP connection.

The Connections workspace can be displayed from the Connections Navigator item of each monitored TCP/IP stack. Though the Connections workspace is the default workspace, the following workspaces can also be displayed by right-clicking the Connections leaf in the navigation tree:
