Active FTP Sessions workspace

The Active FTP Sessions workspace displays all active FTP sessions (independent of when the session was opened). These sessions can be from a remote FTP client to a z/OS^(R) FTP server, or from a z/OS FTP client to a remote FTP server. FTP control connections for sessions are uniquely defined by a combination of a local IP address and port number and a remote IP address and port number.

This workspace is displayed by right-clicking the FTP navigator item and choosing Active FTP Sessions from the workspace List.

The Active FTP Session workspace provides the following views:

• Server Session Login Failures: Displays the number of login failures by server in a bar chart.
• Active FTP Sessions: Displays the number of active FTP sessions in a bar chart.
• Active FTP Sessions Summary table: Displays summary information about a link to the transfer records associated with that particular FTP session.
