N3T_Appl_Pct_Segs_Rexmit

The percentage of the segment retransmissions for all connections to the application over the last sample interval. Only TCP transmissions can result in retransmissions. Acceptable levels can only be determined in relation to service level requirements. Retransmissions can affect user response times and lead to violations of service level agreements.

To solve the situation, do the following:

1. Check for congestion in the network
2. Locate the source IP address of the sending application
3. Perform network diagnostic tests
