N3T_Appl_Datagram_Rate

The total datagram rate for all connections to the application over the last sample interval, given in datagrams per minute. Determine a conditional value by observing history to obtain a working baseline. A datagram rate significantly in excess of the established baseline indicates an increase in application workload and can signify an impending performance problem.

Possible solutions include:

• Load balancing (giving a higher priority to this application)
• Application tuning
• Work rescheduling
